how to manage two compute node through dashboard of controller

i need to create compute and controller node.I m not understanding how to check whether it has been created or not.And also how to create vm on compute node through controller ..and manage them .Thank you in advance

What is your environment? Are you using devstack, or you install the packets directly? What distribution? Edit your post with those information plz :)

installed using packstack all in one.but now i want controller and compute node on two separate machine

You can follow the guide for a multi-node installation. It is interactive and you also have the command lines. here. Hope it helps
