I am working on a new service based on openstack architecture. It accepts REST requests and hands over the processing to the actual backend server. The architecture is exactly like nova-api and nova-scheduler. My question is , for the server part(like nova-scheduler) is there any recommended way in which i can bring up my python code(all it does is listen to rabbitmq and process it)

PS: I am new to python

If You can browse and understand how openstack is launching these service , then you can use it. Normally openstack services are like daemon processes, so if your requirement is to launch daemon process using python , then consider python module python-daemon
