object-replicator: rsync error: error in file IO (code 11) at receiver.c(298) [receiver=3.0.4]
object-replicator: rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (33 bytes received so far) [sender]
object-replicator: rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(605) [sender=3.0.9]
object-replicator: Bad rsync return code: 12 <- ['rsync', '--recursive', '--whole-file', '--human-readable', '--xattrs', '--itemize-changes', '--ignore-existing', '--timeout=30', '--contimeout=30', '--bwlimit=0', '/srv/node/sdb1/objects/192250/c24', '/srv/node/sdb1/objects/192250/756', '/srv/node/sdb1/objects/192250/a00', '/srv/node/sdb1/objects/192250/266', '10.58.13.152::object/sdb1/objects/192250']

has any one seen this ?

i have added a new swift node. running a couple of diff versions of swift. trying to upgrade to the latest as a rolling upgrade.

I don't think rsyncs can be that different. Most likely it's either SSL-wrapped rsync listening on normal socket, or something other than rsync altogether. Check with running "rsync 10.58.13.152::", should return literal account, container, object per line.

Thanks for the response zaitec

Ran on all three nodes rsync node#:: and got the same return as you stated i should see.

so appears to be working correctly rsync that is. must be something else then.. very odd

thanks

The same problem! Surely no one knows the solution?
