Why does Packstack on CentOS require multiple support documents?
For the most basic openstack setup outside of devstack, packstack requires 3 separate documents to install.
https://openstack.redhat.com/Quickstart (Quickstart) is the main page, but the document lacks a version number, a date, a link to the source, or comment or discussion section. Only links to 2 other required documents.
https://openstack.redhat.com/Neutron_with_existing_external_network (Neutron with existing external network) requires the user to manually edit multiple config files, enter in commands, and a Morse-code-like series of reboots. Worst of all the author demands the admin manually clone MAC addressees. That is insane. That is something a computer can do. If we wanted to be cloning MAC addresses by hand we would have made them human readable in the first place. You are doing it wrong.
https://openstack.redhat.com/Workarounds (Workarounds) why are there workarounds for simple default installs?
