When install Openstack Juno from stable release I always get:

> ++ ls /opt/stack/status/stack/n-cpu.failure

> + service=n-cpu
> + echo 'Error: Service n-cpu is not running' Error: Service n-cpu is not

I followed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFFRY...

apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

apt-get install git -y

git clone -b stable/juno https://github.com/openstack-dev/devstack.git

cd devstack

./tools/create-stack-user.sh

chown -R stack:stack .

From stackrc modify GIT_BASE=${GIT_BASE:-https://www.github.com}

su stack

./stack

As a first step, try to follow the official instruction . Since you're trying to run devstack in a virtualized machine, make sure that the virtual machine (digitalocean or ec2) actually support the virtualization. Check the answers on https://ask.openstack.org/en/question... to find more suggestions.
