Environment: Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit Laptop.

I'm very much new to the openStack. trying to bring up All-in-one VM setup using devstack following steps in the URL: http://docs.openstack.org/developer/devstack/guides/single-vm.html (http://docs.openstack.org/developer/d...)

Installed euca2ools and cloud-init. copied use-data given in the section "Launching with cloud Init" into the Text file, ran the following command as normal user:

$euca-run-instances ami-d09fad95 --user-data-file=devstack-vm-cloud-config.txt

OUTPUT: euca-run-instances: error: No ec2 endpoint to connect to was given. ec2 endpoints may be specified in a config file with "ec2-url".

Any idea what could be the error.

BR, Viswanath
