nova-compute is missing in nova-manage service list
I have installed ubuntu 12.04 lts alomgside windows with 50gb space, 4 gb ram , I5 intel. following http://devstack.org i have installed openstack for all in one single machine. when i try to launch any image, the error comes like this : Error: Failed to launch instance "cirros2nd": Please try again later [Error: No valid host was found. There are not enough hosts available.].
however the same configuration use to run very smoothly without any errors. now when i have googled for the error, it says,it is because you have less resources which i have enough and 2nd reason is nova-compute is missing from nova-manage service list.
no availability zones are found to launch my image. i have attached ![image descriptionhttp:// (image description)(http://)(http://)(http://)screenshots for the reference.
kindly help. regarding the same. it is my final year project.
If service list does not list nova-compute, it means the service did not start successfully. You should check the nova compute service logs or the n-cpu screen for errors.
