How do I enable HTTPS for OpenStack Horizon?

Hello-

I am running devstack and I wanted to enable HTTPS for the horizon dashboard. I realize that I must edit a "local_settings.py" file but I cannot find it in the devstack installation folder or in /etc (there is no openstack-dashboard file) Can anyone point me to where I can find it? If not, what can I do to create a settings file from scratch?

the local_settings.py file is in the folder $stack_user (by default it is in the /opt/stack/openstack/horizon),you can find it use find command

find /opt/stack/openstack/horizon -iname "local_settings.py"

Horizon is severed from a web server such as httpd or apache. Ssl config for horizon is done at the web server and not in horizon directly.

There are endless examples on the internets on how to set ssl on most popular web servers.
