I'm having a rather weird issue with my Neutron network right now. I'm able to ping "" from my instance and I'm able to ping my instance but any other kind of communication in or out of the instance does not work. I opened all ports of the OpenStack firewall for everything and still getting the same issue.

When I do a traceroute to "" I'm getting back the following error.
traceroute to (2607:f8b0:400a::2003), 30 hps max, 46 byte packets 1traceroute: sendto: Address family not supported by protocol

I find it weird that I'm getting IPv6 IP's back when I have not setup IPv6 on anything.

Did you setting the MTU at your VM interface. You use GRE so you VM max MTU is 1454. You can check it.

I fixed most of it last night before bed but didn't get a chance to update my ticket. It was the MTU as you suggested.

I'm still having trouble though with my Windows networking. I have it set at "dhcp-option-force=26,1454" right now and that seems to work for all my Linux distros but "cirros".
