Hi,

I am trying to configure openstack juno on CentOS Linux release 7.0.1406 (Core). except nova compute and neutron L3 service everything is running on the controller node. I have configured nova compute on the compute node and when try to start the compute service its failing. i checked the log and found the below error.

"ERROR oslo.messaging._drivers.impl_rabbit [req-17652648-c37d-4b0a-a8a3-b9a431448075 ] AMQP server on xxxxxx:5672 is unreachable: [Errno 113] EHOSTUNREACH. Trying again in 11 seconds."

I checkd the controller node and it seems the rabbitmq-server service is running fine. I tried to telnet from the compute node to check the rabbitmq port status on the controller node, but was failing.

"telnet: connect to address 192.168.10.61: No route to host"

when checked the port status on the controller node it seems the port number 5672 is only listening on the ipv6 address. Please help.

Later i checked an another post on the same forum and tried the "iptable -F" to flush the iptables and after that everything started working.
