Instance Disk Different with Flavor

Hi all, i have deploy one instance and used flavor that have 20G Disk with ephermal 10G when instance up, i check with df -h command, and it show like this (LVM) image description The size is just 2.5G

when i check with #fdisk -l it show actual value of flavor image description

how can this happen? it happen to instance with no LVM on it too.

please help

are you using cloud-init inside your vm?

For Xenserver, automatic resize of the filesystem will occur if the following are all true:

  • auto_disk_config=True is set as a property on the image in the Image Registry.
  • The disk on the image has only one partition.
  • The file system on the one partition is ext3 or ext4.

I have activate on nova.conf both in compute and controller node, and this tips is work on xen hypervisor, i used KVM not xen
