yes you can deploy openstack in your windows laptop (use virtual box or vmware workstation)

go for VMware workstation.

Hardware Requirements:

Hard Disks: At Least 100 GB Free Space (5000 RPM or above).
Ram: 2gb or more.
Processor: Quad Core, Intel I3 or similar. (VT Enabled Processors are recommended).

Can I create 3 VM's (compute, control & network nodes) using the current laptop configurations ?
ANS: Yes you can, but the system will be slow.

How many network adapers do I need to have in each VM & its type ?
ANS: If you are going with multinode deployment each VM needs 2vnic's

Also can you suggest me with the allocations (RAM,disk space) for each VM (compute, controller, Network nodes) with the current configurations I have. I understand the controller has to be provided maximum allocati
