Dear All, I have a lab environment where Cinder is running as a standalone node. Cinder is connected with a CEPH cluster. I had followed CENTOS documentation for ICEHOUSE. But the CINDER node is running on UBUNTU (Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS). Connectivity between all these components are OK. But when i create a volume using

cinder create --display_name ceph-volume 1

I got the following Error

ERROR: The server has either erred or is incapable of performing the requested operation. (HTTP 500) (Request-ID: req-e8d8932f-f4a1-4228-92f8-288b4ec26593)

When i checked the /var/log/cinder-volume.log i got the following

2014-12-17 08:52:41.755 964 TRACE cinder.openstack.common.threadgroup raise ImportError("Failed to import qpid.messaging")

2014-12-17 08:52:41.755 964 TRACE cinder.openstack.common.threadgroup ImportError: Failed to import qpid.messaging

I am using QPID as the message broker. And the cinder list command give me following out put
