Hi,

I am a newbee with Openstack and I tried to follow the openstack documentation for ubuntu in order to create an openstack instance in a virtual machine. All the nodes are on the same VM.

I successfully passed the steps until the end of the installation of the dashboard. I can log in the dashboad but when I try to create a new instance, I have the following error:

indeed I have the same issue, but this thread didn't provide the answer except a full new install solved the issue.

I have redone all the network installation. The only failed test is the ping. It's written "If you are building your OpenStack nodes as virtual machines, you must configure the hypervisor to permit promiscuous mode on the external network." I can't find this mode in paralles on OS X
