thanks for sharing these. I think these would work better as answers, instead. Would you copy the content in the answer and edit the question to be a generic one about installation on centos?

  1. iptables issue: cant enable iptables

    solution:

               yum install iptables-services
               systemctl start iptables
               systemctl enable iptables

  2. mysql issue: cant install mysql

    solution:

              yum install mariadb-server mariadb
              systemctl start mariadb-service
              systemctl enable mariadb-service
              mysql_secure_installation

  3. client issue: client cant authorize service

solution: iptables prevent client to reach service

              iptables-save > backup
              iptables -L -- line-numbers
              iptables -D INPUT 1
              iptables -I INPUT 1 -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED,RELATED -j ACCEPT
              iptables-save > allowall

    add in file /etc/rc.d/rc.local the line iptables-restore < /path/to/allowall

              chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.local

so every time the server reboots the iptables rules will be restored

4.packages issue :cant find icehouse packages

    solution: Use epel 7
