Hey guys, now again,

I want install FWaaS on Ubuntu 14.04 with Icehouse Release, i have follow this [documentation] ( )

I have a 4 Node Setup: 2* Compute-Node 1* Controller-Node 1* L3-Network-Node

My question is where to configure the FWaaS? In the documentation is only:

service_plugins = firewall
service_provider = FIREWALL:Iptables:neutron.agent.linux.iptables_firewall.OVSHybridIptablesFirewallDriver:default
driver =
enabled = True

and on Controller (It is obvious to me):

'enable_firewall' = True

For the Option "service_provider" i have add on Controller and L3-Network router,firewall

service_provider = router,firewall

On the Compute-Node I do Nothing! And the service_provider is only on router:

service_provider = router

The Firewall is working but with strange effects. Ping, RDP, SSH is working only in the second try .... also i must ping then strc+c and then again ping and then it will work.

Please tell me how and where you have FWaaS configure correct!

Thanks a lot

regards, rahuk
