I wan't to enable communication between floating IP inside of RDO VM and another VM.

Both VM are connected with "Internal Network Adapters" in Virtual Box as hypervisor.

Floating IP working just fine if I login into qrouter on RDO VM - I'm able to SSH to cirros instance over floating ip.

Here is link with image which describe current setup:

It this possible ?

Finally I've found solution - it was up to Virtual Box.

VM Network Adapters must be:

  • Paravirtualized driver in order to allow VLAN tags - otherwise Intel Pro Driver will strip VLAN tags from packet
  • Promiscuous Mode must be allowed since OpenStack force it.
