Hi Guru,

I am trying to install HP Helion Opentack community edition(Virtual Cloud Environment)on my workstation, officially it required 48G RAM but my workstation only have 24G physical RAM, so when I start Seed VM, it popping up a warning say - 48G required, insufficient memory...

I was learnt from a webcast that 16GB RAM will be actually sufficient to install Helion Community edition, So my question is how can I get through the error warning and complete my installation ?

Anyone has idea on this? Thanks for your help!

you might have to hack the seed installation shell script to workaround this limit. just grep the error message in tripleO root directory like this

grep -i '48G required, insufficient memory' tripleO -rn

find the code that impose this memory limit and change it to the value you want.

Hope that helps!
