openstack juno version of VM can not get iP address

openstack juno version of VM can not get iP address

Whenever I reboot the node in the network systemctl restart neutron-openvswitch-agent.service

In the network node /var/log/neutron/openvswitch-agent.log see the following error

In the control node neutron-server.log see the following error:

2014-12-04 10:26:40.149 31468 WARNING neutron.plugins.ml2.rpc [req-31ffd72a-022b-4560-84ec-1ed9d5f69070 None] Device b8a98ce0-e5b4-4337-8320-05480bb65006 requested by agent ovs-agent-network not found in database

And see the compute nodes and network nodes br-tun, br-int interface is DOWN

  1. What kind of ML2&&OVS&&VXLAN( or GRE or VLAN) setup you are running ?

    1. Please post /etc/neutron/plugins/ml2/ml2_conf.ini
    2. On Network Node:- ovs-vsctl show && ifconfig

Hi, Looks like you using device which is not in database. I'm not expert with openstack but you need check your network device in db, and be sure that you using correct virtual interface, maybe for some reason it set wrong uuid to your vnic, firstly verify that. And if device is not present in db you need to define it in neutron, and try resync db with devices that present in your environment. because of "Agent out of sync with plugin!" And i'm repeat it again. Im not expert with openstack, do not judge me strictly
