On a clean centos 7 OS, I've turned off NetworkManager, firewalld and turned on network & iptables. I've set SELINUX to permissive

Still, I can't get packstack --allinone to install. It fails:

ERROR : Error appeared during Puppet run: 192.168.107.101_amqp.pp Error: Could not start Service[rabbitmq-server]: Execution of '/usr/bin/systemctl start rabbitmq-server' returned 1: Job for rabbitmq-server.service failed. See 'systemctl status rabbitmq-server.service' and 'journalctl -xn' for details.

This used to work fine, what am I missing?

Alain.

Until the next problem.

I don't know if it's got something to do with tha

Hey Alain! Thanks your answer worked for me. But if you look at the RDO doc, under the prereq section, it mentions otherwise FYI,Please name the host with a fully qualified domain name rather than a short-form name to avoid DNS issues with Packstack.

when you guys say "edited" what did you edit the files with as far as what contents/cmds/variables did you put in there.

These solutions are vague.
