Hello all.

When I click 'Create volume', then field "Type" is empty. After successful creation of a new volume, I couldn't attach this volume to my instance. I got an error: libvirtError: unsupported configuration: disk bus 'ide' cannot be hotplugged.

I'm using havana development version of openstack and glusterfs for cinder and fedora 3.11.1-200.fc19.x86_64

What's the matter and how to fix it?

also: "cinder type-list" is empty.

I too am having the same problem with Havana. I can create a volume, but every time I attach it, I get an error about it being an IDE. Also, if I do get to attach a volume, then the Instance never boots properly. So, I am at a loss...

Hey guys, doesn't have you problems when attachng volume to instance?! In the grizzly, havana, and even in the developing icehouse releases, I get same error "libvirtError: unsupported configuration: disk bus 'ide' cannot be hotplugged.". Same error in openstack installed through devstack.
