I spent about 15 minutes in the Ubuntu Cloud's webpage ( http://www.ubuntu.com/cloud/openstack ) trying to figure out how much would I need to pay in order to set up a small cloud of 50 VMs but I was not able to find any clear information.

First, this can be read from the home page:

Benefit from best practices in cloud building, and get up and running within minutes, all from an intuitive web UI, plus the first 10 machines are free.

What does "10 machines" mean? Ten physical servers? Ten VMs? Ten VMs per physical machine? Unlimited VMs per physical machine?

On the other hand, I was unable to find a page with a pricing list or similar for self-hosted Ubuntu Cloud. Can someone give me a hand?

This site is for the OpenStack open source project. You need to ask questions about commercial offering to the companies directly, to Canonical in this case.
