tenant id and instance id in neutron schema [closed]

Hello, I am trying to figure out how the neutron DB schema binds its networks to VM instances. The schema has 'networks' table with 'tenant_id' field. I assume the tenant_id should do the job. However, tenant_id does not define a VM instance. More than that, I found no reference of tenant_id in the nova DB schema. Can anyone explain me the binding logic? Alternatively, I would like to learn how neutron agent/s in the computation node know\s what neutron id they serve.

Thank you

From CLI standpoint nova list provide instance-id for every instance listed
nova show instance-id has field tenant-id. I am not sure neutron is involved here.
