Hello there,

I'm really new with swift and I try to understand what is wrong in my SAIO setup and what I need to change to reach our requirements.

I deployed swift all in one according specifications on http://docs.openstack.org/developer/swift/development_saio.html (http://docs.openstack.org/developer/s...)

The thing is I am facing a problem when I try to get an AUTH-TOKEN providing the IP_ADDRESS:8080 instead of localhost:8080.

deplooyer@10.64.154.14:~$ curl -v -H 'X-Storage-User: test:tester' -H 'X-Storage-Pass: testing' http://10.64.154.14:8080/auth/v1.0

Even providing 127.0.0.1:8080 (which is specified to be used on SAIO page) I get "Moved Permanently":

deployer@10.64.154.14:~$ curl -v -H 'X-Storage-User: test:tester' -H 'X-Storage-Pass: testing' http://127.0.0.1:8080/auth/v1.0

Swift works perfectly providing only localhost:8080, we need to provide the IP_ADDRESS (or DNS_NAME) because we are going to consume SWIFT from our service located in a ... (more)

The error is very clear, check your resources, whether it's in right place or not

first verify the port

netstat -an | grep 8080

One it's verify check he URL on the Web browser

http://127.0.0.1:8080/auth/v1.0
http://127.0.0.1:8080/auth/v1.0/

Try with other version as well

http://127.0.0.1:8080/auth/v2.0/

Are you using tempuath or swiftauth ?
