Hi,

i need help for my RDO plateforme with vCenter. When I build an instance, glance send a copy of my image in vmware_temp directory (on datastore) and copy this vmdk in my VM. Whenever I build instance, glance start again the copy. For spawn one VM, i wait 50 min (16GO vmdk).

I tried to configure a glance-cache.conf but it is not working. Any ideas ?

glance-cache.conf :

[DEFAULT]
verbose=True
debug=True
registry_host=0.0.0.0
registry_port=9191
auth_url = http://localhost:5000/v2.0
admin_tenant_name = services
admin_user = glance
admin_password = **********
known_stores = glance.store.vmware_datastore.Store
filesystem_store_datadir=/var/lib/glance/images/
vmware_server_host=10.122.143.190
vmware_server_username=**********
vmware_server_password=**********
vmware_datacenter_path=**********
vmware_datastore_name=***********
vmware_api_retry_count=10
vmware_task_poll_interval=5
vmware_store_image_dir=/openstack_glance
vmware_api_insecure=False

EDIT: I see vcenter undupported for glance cache https://github.com/redhat-openstack/glance/commit/6787bf30e50ac415639ffd22c04778839950cfc0?diff=unified (https://github.com/redhat-openstack/g...)

Does your edit indicate that this is no longer a problem? I'm not clear as to what question is actually being asked here.
