I have a VM at vmware. I shuted it off, copied the vmdk files to nova-compute node with qemu and with installed virt-manager im able to launch the vm and work further.

How can i do exactly the same just with Openstack? Just to launch the instance from files?

How can be VMs migrated (not live of course, but via the vmdk files) to Openstack without any customization, anything?
