Hello, I am new in OpenStack. I am trying to deploy a all-in-one lab to test the features that this environment can provide us.

I followed these steps: , but when I try to create the vmnet with the following command:

nova network-create vmnet --fixed-range-v4= --bridge=br100 --multi-host=T

it ouputs the following error:

ERROR: Invalid URL u'http://:5000/v2.0/tokens': No host supplied.

It is like there is something not configured but I am not able to find it, I do not know what I am missing. Could you please help me? Thx a lot!!!

Edit your question and add more details please. Like the command you used. I'm not familiar with vmware setup (you may also want to ask the authors of that post, too).

What do you have set for your keystone endpoint within Nova.conf? It looks like you are sending the wrong endpoint under one of the [keystone_authtoken] sections. The URL should use the IP address of your controller:

You'll want to ensure that you have configured the keystone_authtoken sections with the correct user/password and endpoints.

Update1 :

You'll want to source openrc as well to make sure that you have the right endpoints when you are using the CLI tools.

source openrc

ERROR: <atribute 'message' of 'exceptions.BaseException' objects> (HTTP 503)

You may want to open a support request or something. It looks like the install maybe didn't finish out correctly? I'm going to delete most of the comments.
