Hi,

When I install a dedicated glance node to store the images, how does it download to compute node?

  1. glance node -> controller node ->network node -> compute node?
  2. glance node ->network node -> compute node?
  3. glance node -> compute node?

Thanks.

Compute node just need the endpoint of glance-node to download images, so it will go to controller, where keystone is installed and take the endpoint. Then it can download the glance images from there. Network node has no role in this case. So, the correct path is: glance node ->controller node -> compute node

For image request: glance -> controller -> compute

For actual image retrieval: glance -> compute
