Hi , Has any one successfully configured HA for Neutron In Openstack Juno. On searching I found that VRRP and NFV has has been added to neutron to assist the HA functionality but I could not find any Documents which say how to implement those in real practice.

L3 High Availability ( in general)
http://redhatstackblog.redhat.com/201...

1. This makes each Network Node a single point of failure (SPOF)
2. Whenever routing is needed, packets from the source instance have to go through a router in the Network Node and then sent to the destination. This centralized routing creates a resource bottleneck and an unoptimized traffic flow

Two Juno efforts are aiming to address these issues; one is a proposal to add high-availability to the Network Nodes, so that when one node is failing the others can take over automatically. This implementation uses the well-known VRRP protocol internally. The second one is to introduce distributed virtual routing (DVR) functionality by placing the neutron-l3-agent on the Compute nodes (hypervisors) themselves. In contrast to the Network Nodes approach, deployment using distributed virtual routing will require external network access on each Compute node.

L3 High Availability ( in details)
The Juno targeted L3 HA solution uses the popular Linux keepalived tool, which uses VRRP internally. First, then, let’s discuss VRRP.

Hi , I have already gone through all these links. It explains how the neutron HA can be achieved and how it will work but I couldn't find any Document which show's the Implementation.

Hi , I have gone through those docs many time and have tried most of the configuration setting they have told but none helped. Every Document explains how HA work and in what way they are attempting to achieve it but non gives us proper steps to configure it.
