Quantum Open vSwitch on AWS instances

We have followed the grizzly basic-install documentation for Ubuntu to install openstack on AWS EC2 instances for the purposes of learning OpenStack and its projects. The EC2 instances are with an AWS VPC. We have been able to install the projects and services are up and running.

The only problem we are bumping into is related to the Open vSwitch configuration within Quantum, in particular getting the bridge interfaces coming up and routing.

Has anyone successfully installed OpenStack grizzly on AWS instances? If so are there any additional installation or configuration steps required

Appreciate the help
