Revert Snapshots?

I can create snapshots and all that, but is it possible to restore to a previous (live...running) snapshot?

If I am using OpenStack for development work, and a couple hours into my tests I make a mistake, how can I restore to a previous point without losing all my work, losing my assigned IP address etc?

When I see "Snapshot" I assume it means you can save your work, and if you need to revert back, you can. But no matter what I do, launching from a snapshot, the state is not preserved.

Maybe OpenStack doesn't have this function?

It would be nice if the video has been made public so that everyone in the community can take advantage of your experience.

Thank you in advance.
