Hi,

I am integrating openstack with VCenter server and ESXi hypervisor. I am able to launch VM on esxi hypervisor. But when the VM boots it shows "Operating system not found".

I have done configuration in nova.conf file:

compute_driver=vmwareapi.VMwareVCDriver connection_type = vmwareapi

[vmware]

host_ip=192.168.5.116

host_username=administrator@vsphere.l...

host_password=Abcd@1234

cluster_name=cluster1

vmwareapi.integration_bridge=br-int

wsdl_location=file:///opt/stack/vmware/SDK/vsphere-ws/wsdl/vim25/vimService.wsdl

Sounds like it isn't finding the bootloader/disk? Anything in the logs? Can you recreate what you've done in openstack in vmware (as exact as possible) and see if it boots? Do any vm's boot on esx when started from openstack?

No..i am not able to boot any VM on esxi when started from esxi.

The exact configuration done for openstack is written above in my question other than that did not configure anything :(

Thanks
