In grizzly, I have configured cinder using the default lvm as backend for a while. Some volumes have been created on lvm. Now, for some reason, I want to migrate the backend from lvm to ceph.

I would like to know how to migrate the existing volumes in lvm to ceph, since I can not find any instruction that can "export" the volumes from cinder (so that I can import it again after I switched the backend)?

Hum... You just have to move them indeed. Just create your ceph volume and then attach it as a new volume endpoint, once it's done, you could perform a Live Migration or a Normal Migration.

I don't now if it's what you were looking for :D
