Hi sir,

I'm trying to setup cloud using OpenStack. I heared that virtualization supported NICs are needed in the Compute node to launch instances. I have 1 controller node, 1 Network node and 2 Compute nodes. Does it required to have Virtualization supported NIC to setup the cloud. I'm expecting your help. Thank you !

I would ask what specifically you are looking for.

As a general rule, there is no need for a special NIC for networking. I can think of a couple situations that _might_ require a different NIC, but they exist outside of Openstack.

The only issue you may run into is with GRO and Windows instances on some/most cards. This can be avoided with software changes alone.

Perhaps you can be more specific about what you want to do.
