I have icehouse setup with neutron network & Vcenter environment, I planned to integrate vmware with openstack. Surfing about this stuff shows I need to configure NSX environment to make Vcenter work with openstack neutron. But NSX setup is not available in free evaluation period ( trial period ) in VMware website. So what alterative could I do now ? Is it possible to integrate Vmware with openstack neutron without using NSX? I don't wanna use Nova-network. Is NSX setup available in trail version ? Could anyone help me with solutions ?

Hi,

As per the documentation, we can integrate vmware with neutron either using NSX plugin or plumgrid plugin. http://docs.openstack.org/admin-guide-cloud/content/section_plugin-arch.html#d6e6366 (http://docs.openstack.org/admin-guide...)

So I guess we will need one of them to make neutron work with vmware.

Thanks for your responce, If we go for plumgrid plugin with vcenter ,does it support all the features in neutron ?
