z/vm support on Openstack

The 'HypervisorSupport Matrix' of Openstack does not list z/VM as a supported hypervisor but I see on wiki that some Nova-z/VM plugin is available. My Openstack lab consists of a controller node, network node and a compute node. The nodes are VMware esxi guests running RHEL 6.5 and use Icehouse version. I would want to add a z/VM compute node to this environment. Is this technically possible?

Not sure. You try to integrate and see if any errors appears. Then we can debug, this will be best way to check our-self.
