Hi,

I have PV created and VG created and then created a Logical Volume(LV) with three different size. Could you guys please guide me how to make use of this LVM to store instance when it is launched from openstack.

I would suggest to use LVM as cinder backend. View https://access.redhat.com/documentati...

Hi,

I converted existing KVM using LVM storage into QCOW2 format which has already defined LVM partition. I then used Cinder and attached a LVM to openstack instance, it sits as /dev/vdc.. Whereas my partition is on /dev/vda. I have unmount /home partion and then mount it to /dev/vdc. I want Openstack to use our existing volume group to store data.Instead of mounting the existing partition /dev/vdc created by cinder.. Is this is possible.
