Hi All,

I have configured Cinder block storage on Icehouse. I tried to launch new cirros instance with 5GB cinder volume. Everything went fine. But when i checks the volume on the instance it is not showing. I can see the horizon shows the volume has been created and attached with the instance. Please help.

Regards, Arumon

Check your both the volume logs as well as compute logs to see if there was an error with the attach. Otherwise it could be that the cirros VM you are using is not seeing it as attached

Please check if you are login as root. If not root, fdisk won't show up.
