Please confirm the command by which I could find out working of a meter. I am not sure if these two commands work-

$ceilometer meter-list

$ceilometer sample-list --meter <meter-name>

Actually I haven't configure ceilometer yet. So , I am not able to perform experiment.

Can anybody confirm if any meter is not functioning correctly/down, how can I find out it?

Will there be any change in output of below for that meter?- Resource ID

For a meter which is active, sample-list will accrue more entries over time. That is, if you run it now, and then run it again 10 minutes later, you should see additional entries - depending on the intervals (time periods) configured in /etc/ceilometer/pipeline.yaml
