Hi,i am trying to execute neutron API but getting error as "unauthorized"

And when tried to execute "Authenticate for Admin API" (Link- http://docs.openstack.org/api/openstack-identity-service/2.0/content/POST_admin-authenticate__v2.0_tokens_admin-tokens.html (http://docs.openstack.org/api/opensta...) ), getting error as follows: curl -X POST http://192.168.1.8:9696/v2.0/tokens -d { "auth": { "tenantName": "krishna_project", "token": { "id": "351f2a42-dc5e-4047-98d3-50df6ebaeb77"}}} Errors: curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'auth' curl: (3) [globbing] unmatched brace at pos 2 curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'tenantName' curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'krishna_project,' curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'token' curl: (3) [globbing] unmatched brace at pos 2 curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'id' curl: (3) [globbing] unmatched close brace/bracket at pos 37 Authentication required Can anyone tell me the steps to execute neutron APIs?

Hi,

curl -X POST http://192.168.1.8:9696/v2.0/tokens

this should point to keystone not neutron api server. Like this

curl -X POST http://192.168.1.8:5000/v2.0/tokens
