what happens if Heat engine goes down while a stack is being provisioned

I haven't seen Heat resuming stack creation if it goes down while a stack is under provisioning. Does anyone know how does it manages fault tolerance.

Yeah, right now it will not continue. But we are working on this in the next cycle, so hopefully this should work well in the next couple of months.

what is the status of this now ? what should happen if the heat engine goes down during provisioning ?

I am getting Stack_failed is this expected ?

Still expected, and will remain so for the foreseeable future (next couple of releases at least). "Next couple of months" was wildly optimistic.
