Heat: Attaching volumes to instances

Hello,

is there a way for attaching an already existing volume to an instance I start using heat? In other words, I don't want to create the volume to attach within the heat script, I want to attach a volume I already created before launching the heat script.

Thanks. MCo,

Pass the volume ID in as a parameter, and reference it using get_param (instead of get_resource, as you would if Heat were creating the volume for you).

(Alternatively, you can hard-code the volume ID in the template if you are not planning to re-use the template for a different volume.)

It works like a charm! Thanks!
