Hello,

Solved this issue by editing `/etc/openstack-dashboard/local_settings` file and comment out

    #SESSION_ENGINE = 'django.core.cache.backends.db.DatabaseCache'

Dashboard internal error occurs Django installation does not support the caching mechanism you intend to use (django.core.cache.backends.db.DatabaseCache).

After that a simple httpd restart fixed the issue.

Debug a little. If you have Firefox see the net panel in firebug. It actually contains XHTTPRequests requests and response. check response, what is the reason in response that will be having a 500 code.
