Do you mean that users have damaged their virtual machines and now you want to boot from another disk, mount the virtual machine as an external disk and repair it? If so, they should be able to do it, if they have the snapshots of their broken images.

Nope, i need to import centos 5.6 from KVM to openstack infrastructure, and it's complicated, not for centos 6.x its work well. centos 5.6 can't get load kernel on boating, it said VolGroup00 not found , kernel panic etc and i want to fix it with live cd, how to do it?
