Could you please highlight and clarify my doubt? I have separate Keystone and Horizon node and also the second node comprises of MySQL and Nova-Conductor. Should the MySQL conenction line in Keystone.conf point to Keystone+Horizon node or to the MySQL+Nova Conductor? Should we allow firewall (IPTABLES) to communicate or any suggestion as I get the below error? [Errno 111] Connection refused

and also

WARNING: Bypassing authentication using a token & endpoint (authentication credentials are being ignored). [Errno 111] Connection refused

The keystone.conf should point to the MySQL connection. Based on , the Horizon node just needs to be able to reach the Keystone node. That's set in local_settings in /etc/openstack-dashboard/local_settings on RHEL, /etc/openstack-dashboard/ on Ubuntu/Debian.

The notes on this page: discuss indicate that the address and port in local_settings(.py) must match the ones set in /etc/sysconfig/memcached when using memcached for session storage.

Connection refused often means a configuration file isn't correct, so you're correct to triple check what points where.
