Hello, Is it possible to create a dedicated system only to keep my object files,by keeping separated from account and objects,so that i could enable some higher configuration system to run my object files.

To be specific could i allocate the following zones,so that i could make swift for Video On Demand,and multiple users could access the same object files without any interruption.

# swift-ring-builder account.builder add z1-10.0.0.1:6002/sdb1 100
# swift-ring-builder container.builder add z1-10.0.0.1:6001/sdb1 100
# swift-ring-builder object.builder add z1-10.0.0.2:6000/sdb1 100

In the above scenario,i hope i could enable some higher configuration for the system 10.0.0.2 to run things smoother.

rsync configuration in 10.0.0.1

uid = swift
gid = swift
log file = /var/log/rsyncd.log
pid file = /var/run/rsyncd.pid
address = 10.0.0.1

[account]
max connections = 2
path = /srv/node/
read only = false
lock file = /var/lock/account.lock

[container]
max connections = 2
path = /srv/node/
read only = false
lock file = /var/lock/container.lock

rsync configuration in 10.0.0.2

uid = swift
gid = swift
log file = /var/log/rsyncd.log
pid file = /var/run/rsyncd.pid
address = 10.0.0.2

[object]
max connections = 2
path = /srv/node/
read only = false
lock file = /var/lock/object.lock

Yes.

Many deployments separate their object nodes from the account/container nodes.

There is no requirement for the nodes or devices in one of the rings to be present in the others.
