Using soapUI to test OpenStack APIs

Did anyone ever create any soapUI project to test the OpenStack APIs?

Don't manage to get authentication set up. I guess this is because I cannot go directly to for example the compute API and just provide a username / password in the request, but I'd guess I would need to go to keystone first and then take it from there.

Is there any sample / guidance to follow?

Other option is to use Jmeter with HTTP Sampler.

You can extract the token using JSON Path post processor.

Not sure about SoapUI, but you might want to check out Rally: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Rally

You are correct - the normal flow is to get a token from keystone, then use that to find the nova endpoint in the keystone service catalogue, then talk to nova.
