how do you use commands ?

when i run this: nova-manage version list

i get:
usage: nova-manage [-h] [--version] [--debug] [--nodebug] [--verbose] [--noverbose] [--use-syslog] [--nouse-syslog] [--config-file PATH] [--log-config PATH] [--log-format FORMAT] [--log-date-format DATE_FORMAT] [--log-file PATH] [--log-dir LOG_DIR] [--syslog-log-facility SYSLOG_LOG_FACILITY] [--config-dir DIR]

               {cell,account,shell,logs,service,db,vm,bash-completion,project,instance_type,host,version,agent,flavor,fixed,vpn,floating,network}
               ...

nova-manage: error: unrecognized arguments: list

I hope someone want to explain.

There is no list option there. You can just run:

nova-manage version

To see list of supported subcommands e.g for network you can run:

nova-manage network -h
edit flag offensive delete link more
