Each one of my hosts is using over 350G of disk space just to hold ephemeral base images. I'm using qcow2 for my images. Is there any requirement for the base images to be raw format?

I talked with Vish about this and I'll be pushing in a configuration option for this.

Raw format can be covert to many formats and easy to modify, while qcow2 don't, so I think qcow2 is the product image and raw are test image.
