http://ubuntu-cloud.archive.canonical... have updates only for precise release. Is this as expected? If so what's the solution?

Puppet modules were adding the /etc/apt/sources.list/ubuntu-cloud-archive.list. Deleting that file fixed the issue.

$ cat ubuntu-cloud-archive.list
# ubuntu-cloud-archive
deb trusty-updates/icehouse main
deb-src trusty-updates/icehouse main
